Travel Makeup Must-Haves

Hello! I leave tomorrow for across the pond and you all know how excited I am! Today I thought I would post my makeup must haves for travel. Now everyone is different so your makeup bag is going to be completely distinct compared to mine. These are just my personal favs :)

1. Brushes- Only bring the brushes you absolutely need because they can take up a lot of space in your bag. I brought one powder brush, stippling brush, small contour brush and a bronzer brush.

2. Foundation, Bronzer and Finishing Powder-  Again I decided only to bring the necessities. I rarely contour my face so I brought my full coverage foundation along with a light bronzer for a little glow. I also can't live without my NYX pressed finishing powder, so it had to come along!

3. Concealer and Pore Minimizer- You all know how much I adore the Maybelline Pore eraser, which I use as a primer. I also brought my Hard Candy concealer, which I swear by. Both are small so they fit perfectly!

4. Blush- I only brought two blushes. I brought my NYX one in Mauve and my more peachy Nars one in Orgasm.

5. Naked Eyeshadow Palettes- I love my shadows so I had to bring both sets and my small elf one. The shadows are really up to you, but I will be in London for 7 weeks so I want to be prepared!

6. Smashbox Contour Kit- Again, I rarely contour my face, but if I want a more glamorous look I will definitely want this small kit.

7. Mascara and Tweezers- It's all about the eyes. I can't go anywhere without my very black Covergirl Lash Blast mascara or my tweezers for a quick touch up on my brows.

8. Eyebrow Pencil and Eyeliner- I brought my small pencils to fit in the pouch and I tried to stick to the neutrals I wear a lot so I wasn't wasting space.

9. Eyeshadow Base and Sharpener- I told you it's all about the eyes. Bring primer for sparkly shadows so they stay on longer and don't forget a sharpener for your eye and lip pencils.

10. Vaseline- There are a billion ways to use vaseline, but I use it under my eyes so I wake up looking refreshed.

11. Lip Liners and Lipstick- Now if you know me, you will know that I am absolutely obsessed with lipstick. It adds a little flare to any look! Bring colors for every day, but also ones that bring the glam for a night on the town.

12. Perfume- Last, but not least, perfume. My new favorite scent is Si by Giorgio Armani and I splash a little bit behind my ears and on my wrist before going out. It's a little extra something that will instantly brighten your day :)

Those are my travel makeup must-haves, what are yours?

Have a fabulous day!

  3. I love your Vaseline trick for under the eyes. I do that every night and have for the last 2 years and it helps so much! I hear Jessica Alba does it too!

    1. I love vaseline! That's probably why Jessica Alba has no wrinkles ;)
