2015 Beauty Favorites
Hello! I hope the first day of 2016 has been fantastic! I know it is the New Year, but I want to go back a little bit and talk about my ultimate favorites for the year of 2015.
This was extremely hard because I tried a lot of new products this past year. I had to really cut it down and think about the products I used the most. The products featured above are the ones that made the cut!
1. Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette
This palette has changed my contour and highlight forever! The powders are super pigmented and have just enough shine to make you glow. The palette is $46, but I promise it is worth the money. I will probably do a post about just this palette sometime soon, so stay tuned!
2. Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush
I am obsessed with this brush! It is truly amazing. This brush really pushes the foundation into your skin and creates an airbrushed finish. I discovered Morphe Brushes in 2015, but I know they will be my favorite for many years to come! This brush is $14 on their website.
3. NYX Matte Lip Cream (Stockholm)
With the nude lip craze taking over I diligently searched for a color that was perfect for my skin tone! This one is my go to when I want to create the natural look. The formula goes on smooth and is perfect to wear everyday! I am a big fan of all the other colors, but this one I used all the time in 2015.
4. Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (Natural)
I have known about this powder for awhile now, but I thought I would branch out in 2015. However, no matter how many different brands I tried none compared to this one. This is my all time favorite because it keeps me matte all day. I have oily/combination skin so this is perfect for me. The powder is $6 at your local drugstore!
5. L'oreal Color Rich Lipstick (Julianne's Nude)
This is such a pretty pink! You all know I am a sucker for a petal pink lip color. I used this along with the NYX matte cream in order to create the perfect nude lip. This was the perfect color for going to class everyday! I love it. The lipstick is $9 at your local drugstore.
Those were my favorites for the year of 2015! I am so excited to see what beauty has in store for me this year. If you have any must have products from this past year I would love to hear them!
Have a great day!!
Morgan xx

I am pretty sure everyone in the blogging community uses that matte powder from Rimmel. I also adore those L'oreal colour rich lipsticks. I have one, I forget which one but it's absolutely gorgeous. I love the look of Julliane's nude though.
