Hello everybody! I hope you all have been doing well since the last time we talked, which I know was forever ago. I haven't posted in awhile, so I am very sorry for the absence, but I have some great posts to come so get excited :)

Today I kind of just wanted to update you all on my life. Some of you may not care, which is totally fine, but I have made some changes and I would like to share them with you. 

I was inspired this weekend by Carrie Bradshaw to get my hair done. In the Sex and the City movie, Carrie experiences a break-up with her fiancee and instead of letting it get her down she embraces it and finds her own happiness again. This is the road that I am currently on. Carrie gets her hair done to represent the new and improved her, so I did the same!

I decided to go a little blonder, because blondes do indeed have more fun. Lately on Pinterest I have been seeing a lot of the balayage highlights and I am obsessed. They look so natural and give dimension to the hair. I have medium dark hair, so I wanted to add some golden blonde to it. 

I am so happy with the result. It looks so natural and blends throughout my hair nicely. It will definitely look great in the spring and summer when I have a little tan :)

If you are in need of a change I definitely reccomend trying balayage. You won't regret it! I would love to hear what you think down below.
