Byron, Birkin, & Burch

Hello everyone! I know I haven't posted in a few days and I am dearly sorry, but this past week has been a whirlwind. I told all of you that I would keep you updated on my job search and I have some very very exciting news. 

Drum roll please....I am excited to announce that I have officially accepted a position as a merchandiser for Lids Sports Group. I am beyond elated and so blessed to have this opportunity. All of you faithful readers know that I didn't have the easiest journey when it came to finding a job after graduation, but nothing great comes easy!!

If I could give any advice to the young men and women still searching for their first career move I would say don't settle. I remember interviewing for positions I didn't really want and then when I got denied I would be so upset. Little did I know that God had something even GREATER in store for me. 

I can honestly say this is my dream job. I get to work with merchandise and sports, which is just win-win for me. Not to mention all the people I have talked to at the company are so friendly. I am so thankful for the family and friends who were so encouraging and loving through every rejection. I want to give a huge shout out to my Dad especially. Dad, thank you for spending hours with me preparing and providing me with all the tools to be successful. I really couldn't have done it without you. 

I didn't think this day would ever come!! I know it can be discouraging, but please don't give up. If you are struggling like I was, I would love to help out. Please feel free to comment or email me any questions or concerns you have. Even if you just want to vent about it, I am here to listen. 

I am going to try and continue posting throughout this job, but the posts may be less frequent! I want to try my hardest to keep things consistent. Also, I am working on a fun giveaway so be on the lookout for that and invite your friends :)
